LDCC has summer hours! During the summer semester, all campuses adopt a new schedule, giving you more time with your families and additional time to travel.

Monday - Thursday: 7:30 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.
Friday: 7:30 A.M. - 11:30 A.M.
 

Special Events!

Convocation
Convocation occurs twice a year, at the start of the spring and fall semesters. All employees are required to attend for professional development sessions, essential updates from leadership, and meaningful fellowship with colleagues.

Graduation
Held twice a year at the end of the spring and fall semesters, graduation is a time to celebrate our students' accomplishments. All employees are encouraged to volunteer and attend the commencement ceremonies.

Holiday Party
Our annual Holiday Party takes place between Thanksgiving and winter breaks. This festive event is packed with team-building activities, delicious food and drinks, exciting games with prizes, and more.

Grill 'n Chill
Held annually at the end of the spring semester, Grill 'n Chill is an employee appreciation event featuring a delicious meal and laid-back activities. It's a perfect opportunity for the LDCC family to unwind and relax after a busy academic year.

Week at a Glance:
LDCC offers a weekly newsletter that arrives in your inbox every Monday. The "Week at a Glance" includes details about events on all campuses, highlights of specific happenings across the college, and shoutouts to employees who go above and beyond.

Morning Blend:
The Communications and Public Relations Department partners with the School of Business and Technology to deliver this weekly broadcast on Youtube during the fall and spring semesters. The Morning Blend crew goes live on Monday mornings at 8:00 A.M. to deliver you a mix of college-wide news, upcoming events, in-depth discussions, special guests, and more.

College Council Recap:
The College Council meets monthly to discuss institutional policies and college-wide initiatives. Following each meeting, a recap video featuring a council member is sent to your inbox, keeping you thoroughly informed about any major changes.

Chancellor Update:
Every two weeks, a Chancellor Update video is sent to your inbox. These updates, directly from Chancellor Randy Esters, cover topics ranging from major developments from the system office to college-wide progress reports related to the LDCC Strategic Plan.
