Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors [LSLBC]
The Louisiana State Licensing Board (LSLBC) was created in 1956 by Act 233 of the Legislature (La. R.S. 37:2150-2192). The mission and purpose of this agency is the protection of the general public from incompetent and fraudulent acts of a contractor while promoting the integrity of the construction industry.
The LDCC Testing Center on the LDCC Monroe campus offers the LSLBC exams. In order to register for a LSLBC exam, you must have a current “Examination Approval Notice” issued by the LSLBC office. An Examination Approval notification is sent to the Qualifying Party after a license has been applied for or a request to add a classification/Qualifying Party has been submitted. See the link below for more information and how to register through LSLBC.
Dates close out at least seven days in advance to allow the state office to process and load your exam. Days without times listed are no longer available for registering.
Contact our testing administrator at (318) 345-9290 for more information.
