Black Male Mentorship Program (B2MP)
Black Male Mentorship (B2MP) addresses the needs and challenges facing that black male students attending Louisiana Delta Community College. This program provide a way for LDCC students to connect with mentors and build positive relationships to support their college experience.
Through B2MP, students may be able to:
- Connect LDCC students with staff, faculty, industry, and community members to create one-on-one mentoring relationships
- Participate in B2MP Induction Ceremony
- Apply for Black Male Initiative incentive scholarship up to $ 1,000
- Participate in B2MP Mixers throughout the academic year
- Participate in B2MP leadership retreats and cultural forums
- Increase personal commitment to academics and gaining a degree, certification or transfer
- Network with LDCC professional staff, administration and faculty
