LDCC is pleased to announce that we have established a partnership with Inceptia for the processing of student verification files. This partnership will expedite the federal verification process by utilizing the Verification Gateway online portal. If your 2022-23 FAFSA application is selected for verification by the U.S Department of Education, you will receive an introductory email to the email address you provided on the FAFSA. If no email was provided, you will receive an introductory postcard.
In order to complete the verification process through Inceptia’s Verification Gateway, students and dependent student’s parents must create an account once you are notified to do so. Any communication received from Inceptia is legitimate; therefore we ask that you respond in a timely manner to all request from Inceptia. Failure to setup your account or submit requested documentation may delay the processing of your federal financial aid. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the Office of Financial Aid at your respective campus.
Dynamic Forms
Beginning with the 2022/2023 Aid Year, we are in the process of converting our forms to Dynamic Forms. These forms will not need to be uploaded in the Financial Aid Upload. Once you complete these forms, they will come directly to us in the Dynamic Forms Portal. We will notate next to the form if it is a Dynamic Form.
Awarding Information
Louisiana Delta Community College (LDCC) would like to inform you of updates within the Office of Financial Aid.
LDCC is consider a “Header” school for financial aid purposes. What this means is that awarding begins with the Summer semester and our office
You may ask, what does this mean and how does it affect you?
All students, excluding those with FAFSA conflicts, will be conditionally Awarded Pell Grant. Students must review their LoLA account and complete any Unsatisfied Requirements, if needed, for Pell to be Authorized to your account. To be eligible for Pell, you must meet all federal eligibility requirements, meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), and be enrolled in a Pell eligible program/major.
Students will be Offered an Award Package from the college that may include Federal Direct Subsidized and Unsubsidized Loans. Note, this is just an offer. All students must review their LoLA account and Accept, Decline, or Accept a Partial Amount of the aid that is being offered and complete any Unsatisfied Requirements, if needed, in order for your financial aid to be applied to your account.
The Summer semester is the start of the New Award Year for financial aid purposes. For example, students attending for Summer will be awarded aid based on their eligibility from the 2022 -2023 FAFSA. Therefore, students will be awarded for Summer, Fall, and Spring.
