From the office of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, we welcome you to Louisiana Delta Community College, where we encourage you to "start here and go anywhere.” Whether your goal is transferring to a local university, finding a new career, or brushing up on the basics, we have the right program for you. Whether you seek an associate degree, a technical diploma, a professional certification, or college credit while still in high school, we offer a wide range of academic options designed to help you achieve your unique educational path within a supportive, student-centered learning environment.

As a member of the executive leadership team and serving as the chief academic officer for LDCC, the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs provides oversight for the college’s eight campuses, its educational and technical programs, and its faculty and instructional staff. This includes working with campus directors, division chairs, and faculty to guide the areas of study and providing oversight of the areas that support the academic mission, such as assessment and program effectiveness, the library, the registrar, online learning, workforce development, community education, academic partnerships, and others that contribute to the success of our students and faculty. We encourage excellence and innovation in teaching, student development, and community engagement. Our goal at LDCC is to prepare students for a lifetime of professional and community service. Our faculty and staff include outstanding educators and leaders in a variety of academic disciplines and technical fields, all of whom are committed to providing you with a top-quality education. We strive to support the outstanding work of the LDCC faculty and staff by fostering student success, providing enriching learning experiences, and enhancing faculty and staff professional development.
