Welcome Back Students!
All eligible students may continue to purchase books using their Financial Aid through February 1, 2019. Books may be purchased online at www.ladelta.bncollege.com or in person at the Monroe campus bookstore.
Students may turn in SAP appeals for the Spring ‘19 semester to the Office of Financial Aid. The deadline is February 1, 2019. All appeals turned in after the deadline will be reviewed for the Fall ‘19 semester.
The Office of Financial Aid will “Freeze” hours as of the 14th class day/census date (February 1st). Any courses added after this date will not be included in a student’s enrollment status for disbursing federal and state financial aid and the student will be responsible for any additional charges. Therefore, if any currently enrolled student receiving financial aid, adds a course to his/her schedule, you must do so prior to the census date (February 1st). This does not apply to any NEW students enrolling for the first time in March.
Attendance & Parts-of-Terms (late start classes)
Students MUST Attend each class at least once in order for Federal Financial Aid (i.e. Pell Grant & Federal Student Loans) to pay for the course. Students enrolled in later part-of-term classes, please note that Financial Aid is disbursed based on the student’s scheduled start date of classes if the student has attended classes and the student’s enrollment status at the time of disbursement.
Spring Only Loan Disbursement
Due to Federal Regulations, all students receiving a Spring “only” loan, please be reminded that the loan proceeds will be disbursed in two separate disbursements, rather than receiving all of the money at one time.
After student’s bills are paid in full, if there is a remaining balance left on the student’s account, it is called a refund. Refunds are scheduled to be available for students February 19, 2019.
Important Dates to Remember
- The final day to utilize bookstore credit is February 1st.
- The final day to turn in Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Appeals is February 1st.
- Register for March classes by February 1st for Financial Aid to pay if funds are available.
- Refunds are scheduled for February 19th.
