DeltaLINC is responsible for the administra-tion of Adult Education and/or Family Literacy programs under the fiscal auspices of Ouachita Parish School Board in the following
parishes or districts: Bienville, Claiborne, East Carroll, Lincoln, Madison, Monroe City, Jackson, Ouachi-ta, Red River, Richland, and Union.
This program works in accord with the purpose of activities governed by the Adult and Family Literacy Act which is to:
- Assist adults to become literate and obtain the knowledge and skills necessary for employment and self-sufficiency
- Assist adults who are parents to obtain the educational skills necessary to become full partners in the educational development of their children
- Assist adults in the completion of a secondary school education
- DeltaLINC holds managed enroll-ment once a month in compliance with the Work Ready U five-year plan. Stu-dents must pre-register in order to attend a day-long orientation at a later scheduled date.

- Certified Manufacturing Specialist (CMS) – adult education integrated into the CMS content with Work-Keys certification with concurrent enrollment at Delta Community College
- Patient Care Technician (PCT) – adult education integrated into the PCT content with certifications in CNA, EKG, and Phlebotomy with concurrent enrollment at Delta-Ouachita Technical College
